Position Overview:
The Corporate Processing Disclosure Specialist provides support to the Corporate Processing team by answering high-level disclosure related questions. Aids in generation and distribution of regulatory mortgage disclosures. Reviews to ensure accuracy and data integrity of required disclosures. Monitors various aspects of loan files to ensure compliance with RESPA/TRID. Interacts and coordinates with Loan Originators, Processors and any other production support staff to ensure timely disclosures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in answering various disclosure questions related to loan level activities. Knowledge of TRID regulations.
- Review, verify and ensure that mortgage loan disclosures are accurate and comply with established regulation timelines.
- Prepare re-disclosures within 3 days of valid Change of Circumstance. Send initial Closing Disclosure. Ensure disclosure packages are completed and securely delivered in timeframe specified by applicable federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of disclosure guidelines affecting residential mortgage origination – to ensure accuracy of fees to mitigate TRID and RESPA violations.
- Adhere to regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Understanding of the Compliance tool (Mavent). Ability to review for TILA, State Rules, HPML and ATR/QM.
- Answer emails from the disclosure inbox timely and accurately.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all partners to include Sales, Processing, Closing Agents and Closing. Understand customer needs and meet service level agreements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Encompass experience, required.
- Thorough understanding of TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) regulations.
- FHA/VA/USDA knowledge, preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the mortgage industry
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and prioritization skills.
