Job Abstract

OVERVIEW:

The credit manager is responsible for the credit extension and collection of A/R for an assigned area in accordance with CE policy and law.

Duties:

Work closely with branch managers, sales, customers, to resolve credit and collection issues to include outbound collections calls.

Balance cultivating strong relationships with dealers, while working to keep 90+ day past due accounts, aging, and write offs to a minimum.

Responsible for handling and storage of your credit files and account receivable records within assigned area.

handle bonds and liens for assigned area.

Provide ad-hoc reports to management.

Attend sales and customer meetings pertaining to credit matters.

Analyze collection process and establish best practices.

Additional projects can be assigned at any time.

Understanding of Order Management and AR Systems.

Proficent in financial analysis, credit reports, statements, data.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

In depth knowledge of credit risk assessment techniques, credit policies, and legal regulations.

Must have bonds and liens experience.

Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to communicate with all departments.

MS Office applications.
