Laboratory Assistant II Position is available in the Laboratory of Membrane Biology on the VA GLAHS campus, funded through UCLA Department of Pediatrics. Work closely with an MD in Pediatric Gastroenterology and a PhD Senior Research Physiologist to perform experiments involving the gastric pathogen Helicobacter pylori. Job Qualifications

All Required:

Ability to use excel and word.
Ability to perform basic chemistry calculations (molarity, dilutions).
Ability to speak, understand, and write English.
Ability to maintain a legible laboratory notebook.
Knowledge of basic laboratory safety and regulations.
Ability to handle small animals.
Bachelor’s degree with science background.
Must be eligible to work in California (compensation is through UCLA)
