Previous experience in perioperative supply chain or inventory management, or previous experience as a surgical technologist.
Proficient in one or more of the following: Allscripts Supply Chain Management (f. McKesson Supply Chain Management), Epic / APeX, Pyxis Advisor and other CareFusion platforms, and SAP Crystal Reports.
Previous customer service experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related area, at least three years of supply chain or inventory management experience; and/or equivalent experience and training.
Thorough knowledge of materials management policies, regulatory requirements, and safety regulations.
Strong communication skills; including active listening and critical thinking.
Strong interpersonal skills. Actively cooperates and supports the work of others.
Ability to work productively with staff across departments and of all levels.
Productive in work volume, speed, quality, and consistency. Ability to manage multiple priorities, track all supplies, and complete projects. Ability to perform all commonly applicable functions in the Microsoft Suite. Effectively uses the organization's automated materials management systems.
Thorough knowledge of data management and documentation methods used in materials management.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Pivot Tables, Report Manager, advanced formulas (i.e. IF-THEN, TRANSPOSE, VLOOKUP, etc.), ability to identify and correct circular formula errors, etc.
