Job Abstract

Operates Switchboard for Hospital in order to provide routine information and directs calls to appropriate areas. Receives and dispatches Emergency and Non-emergency calls from Hospital Staff for Emergency Medical Service Personnel, Police, Fire and other Services; Provides Emergency Medical Dispatch direction and Communicates by Telephone, Radio System and Computer-Aided Dispatch System

Required qualifications:

• within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization.
• Sufficient switchboard experience, preferably in hospital or similar setting.
