About The Role
The success of a trial often depends on presenting complex material in a clear, concise and persuasive manner. The FTI Trial & Arbitration Support team includes communications consulting experts who specialize in a wide range of visual communications consulting and graphics development, as well as presentation of demonstratives in the courtroom. Our consultants select the most appropriate presentation formats to maximize impact and memorability, and then create persuasive graphic presentations that support, clarify and emphasize the key themes of a case.
What You’ll Do
Produce professional and effective graphic presentations and illustrations for use in trials and arbitrations in the U.S. and globally
Ability to simplify complex concepts into visual presentations that can educate and persuade an audience while maintaining information retention
Work with lead consultants and trial lawyers both remotely and on-site in order to provide graphics support at trial
Be the primary visual communications consultant for client contact during engagements, with overall responsibility for client satisfaction with client service delivery and work product (for graphics)
Develop a compelling visual communications plan supporting case themes and tailored to clients’ specific needs
Work in close partnership with trial technology and jury consultants to pursue engagement opportunities and serve clients as part of a seamless team
Travel as required to attend client meetings and staff on-site engagements

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
1+ years of post-graduate experience creating business, information design or PowerPoint presentations in a corporate, legal or professional services environment
Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
Ability to work a flexible schedule (non-traditional hours)
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills to support close interaction with external clients
Ability to work on multiple projects and maintain a very high level of organization
Strong design and computer skills
Flexibility in taking direction and developing work product that conforms to project constraints
Expert knowledge of PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite
Advanced understanding of video, graphic and animation file formats
Excellent communication skills – visual, written and verbal
