Job Abstract

We are seeking a motivated Accounting and IT Assistant to join our team for the summer. In this temporary role. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both information technology and accounting functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in IT systems and accounting principles, with the willingness to learn and contribute to various projects and tasks.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and escalate issues as needed.
• Support accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and performing data analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support IT and accounting initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation for IT and accounting activities.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge

The preferred candidate is pursuing a degree in a Business, Accounting, Finance, or an IT related degree.

• Basic understanding of IT concepts and principles.
• Interest in learning accounting processes and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
