Job Summary On site opening. MUST have prior insurance verification experience and authorization experience. Under general supervision of the Director, this position performs a variety of functions related to the verification process of high dollar accounts that appear on their worklist. Completes the verification, notification of admission and checks to see if pre certification is required while working closely with the payers and Care Management Department. Remains aware of payer regulations and strives to ensure necessary steps are taken during patient access functions in an effort to achieve payment of accounts in accordance with current government and payer regulations.
