Job Abstract

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Creating and analyzing spreadsheets on a variety of purchasing topics;
• Placing supply orders for the centers and the Administrative Offices;
• Training new department members and assisting with new center openings as needed;
• Assisting with shipping, receiving, and stocking inventory;
• Lifting stock and supplies routinely;
• Assisting center staff with equipment and supply inquiries;
• Accepting delivery of inventory and daily shipments;
• Stocking vending machines at the Administrative Offices;
• Assisting the Supply Chain Manager, Purchasing Manager, and the Director of Materials Management with other projects as directed;
• Operating and maintaining office equipment as trained.
• This is a temporary position scheduled to last 3 month.

Minimum education requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• High school graduate or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred;
• Must be 18 years of age or older;
• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, biomedical technology, or related business environment preferred;
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills;
• Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically experience using Microsoft Excel;
• Ability to work with confidential information;
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks at simultaneously;
• Must be able to lift moderate to heavy items (up to 50 pounds) repetitively;
• Ability to travel, including overnight as needed, and provide own transportation
