The Opportunity:

Booz Allen's Digital Battlespace team is seeking an experienced AI software architect to lead the design of autonomous technologies and systems for our client. This effort will identify and mature autonomy technologies with a team of software engineers, machine learning engineers, and systems engineers to provide the DoD with an Autonomy Hub to develop and mature various technologies and tools needed to deploy AI.

This role will work closely with government clients and engineers to architect autonomous AI systems for deployment. You'll work closely with both government SMEs and with our engineers to deliver these paradigm shifting technologies and ensure that the deliverables and demonstrations meet the government's need and intent. Your work here will enable the delivery of AI and Autonomy solutions to our nation.

You will design and implements effective AI solution architecture and strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the organization’s strategies and business goals, and key ethical considerations.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a software architect

• 3+ years of experience with architecting, developing, or deploying software for AI/ML

• Experience working in an MLOps environment to deploy autonomy-focused software

• Experience with integrating AI and ML capabilities into software architecture design

• Knowledge of Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision for defense

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with communicating AI approaches to leadership and domain SMEs

• Experience with integrating DevSecOps or MLOps practices and principles

• Experience with developing and mentoring staff at all levels

• Experience with building an internal capacity to deliver high quality and highly innovative analytics services

• Master's degree in Computer Science

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
