Summary Objective:
A new position on a growing team, the Marketing Analytics and Insights Director generates actionable intelligence, transformative insights, and meaningful reporting that enables strategic and data-based decision making. A curious and diligent self-starter, this analytical superstar will drive business growth and member experience by enabling the organization to understand our members and best meet their needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every time.
Develop and manage learning agenda and development of insights about members, brand health and markets.
Provide actionable market and customer insights and data to address key strategic questions based on analysis of primary and secondary sources.
Lead marketing testing (A/B, multivariate)
Track and analyze routine marketing performance and handle ad-hoc analytic requests; own development and automation of standard reports.
Manage the marketing dashboard to be used by executive leadership and the marketing team to inform strategy, optimize plans and focus decisions.
Synthesize data into digestible insights that enable stakeholders to make member-centric decisions.
Analyze external and internal customer data using database queries, Excel, statistical analysis tools, Power BI and other tools.
Synthesize and share insights via presentations to others in the organization.
Lead optimal use of research methods and tools to support company objectives.
Partner with and manage agencies and research partners as needed to accomplish objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated track record of success in an analytical role involving customer data or research.
Experience developing and analyzing primary customer research
Strong written and verbal communicator
Strong team skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence others
Formulates a strong POV and can articulate a story from data
Problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations
Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools such as PowerBI
Familiarity with statistical modeling, regression analysis, and predictive modeling techniques
Thrives in a team-oriented culture
Nimble and able to adjust plans in a dynamic environment
Experience, Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing research, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing analytics or related field
Proving track record of managing analytics projects
Experience in developing and implementing analytics strategies and programs
Demonstrated success in using analytics to drive significant business impact
Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining
Strong understanding of CRM systems and digital marketing platforms
Certifications in Google Analytics, BI, Tableau, Adobe, HubSpot or other relevant analytics platforms preferred
