Marketing Statement

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, designs, markets and underwrites commercial property/casualty and professional liability insurance products for select industries. We have been in operation since 1962 and are nationally recognized as a member of Ward's Top 50 and rated A++ by A.M.Best.

Duties

Our underwriting interns will be paired with specific Underwriting department staff to work on daily weekly, or even month-long projects that may involve running various reports, setting up work orders, assisting with special account research projects, performing basic account entry functions, and other tasks to assist a busy and successful underwriting team. Professionalism and maturity are essential. Work schedules are flexible.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree
• Like Insurance? That’s a plus!
• Involvement in community and extracurricular activities is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
