Job Description
Directs physician compensation models. Ensures physician compensation models are commercially reasonable and consistent with fair market value, and meet Federal and State requirements. Develops tools and metrics to monitor the performance of physician compensation models. Coordinates statistical reports.
Job Responsibility
Leads the Physician Compensation function by developing leaders and driving programs and initiatives that support and impact the overall Northwell health system goals.
Develops and articulates a long-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
Develops, oversees and analyzes physician compensation models.
Ensures fair market value profiles based on physician compensation arrangements.
Reviews physician compensation models to ensure commercially reasonable and consistent with fair market value, and meet Federal and State requirements.
Review of business plans and requisitions of physician employment arrangements.
Develops tools and metrics to track and monitor the performance of physician compensation models.
Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports.
Builds and maintains productive intra-departmental work relationships to optimize operations.
Manages resources including operating budget, supplies, equipment, space, staff and information.

Job Qualification
Master's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
10-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
