About the Role
TAM seeks an experienced Change Management contractor who will play a pivotal role in driving and facilitating the successful change to HR policies and processes for our AME workforce, based out of Napa.
This is a 12-month project role with potential to extend if required.
Reporting to the Global Director of HR Services, but working at the direction of the Project Manager, this role will be the change leader for this important and complex project for our workforce in our Vineyards, our Cellar Doors, and beyond.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and a collaborator with a passion for aligning stakeholders and driving organizational wide change. The role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in change management and a proven track record of leading HR process transformations.
That said, this is also a hands-on role; supporting, drafting, and finalizing content for our employees throughout the change journey, and participating as needed in change /training /information sessions for our teams in conjunction with our People & Culture professionals.
There are several key areas of responsibility:
- Change Management Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive change management plan aligned with the various workstreams of activity and the overall program of work.
- Identify potential areas of resistance and develop mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of desired outcomes and the change efforts required to realise business objectives.
- Change impact assessment to identify the impact of the change on individual roles and create a change action plan to ensure a smooth transition from the As-Is to the To-Be state.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify, analyse, and map stakeholders to ensure they are managed effectively.
- Lead the development and execution of a communication plan that keeps all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the process changes.
- Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders, anticipating and addressing concerns and promoting a shared vision / outcome.
- Provide regular reports to key stakeholders (e.g., Project Delta Steering Committee) regarding the status of the change management program.
- Communication, Training and Support Collateral
- Workshop, draft and finalise any change materials needed to support the project workstreams.
- Support our goal to make the complex ‘simple to digest’.
- Devise approaches for longevity of change adoption.
- Collaboration
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting a sense of unity and shared purpose.
- Form part of the Project and SMEs teams supporting the project, to ensure the change is not only executed effectively, but with buy-in and adoption from those impacted.
About You
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or a related field and certification in change management (e.g., Prosci).
- You have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in change management, ideally with HR or employee change projects.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- You are strong leader with the ability to work across all levels of a complex organization.
- You are a strategic thinker and align change efforts with overall business objectives.
- You are a collaborator with the ability to influence and bring others along the change journey.
- You are a proactive problem-solver with the ability to address challenges and be resourceful in finding innovative (creative and pragmatic) solutions.
- You are comfortable both with strategic thinking and hands on change support.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is based on a yearly salary of $100,000 to $135,000. Your salary will be prorated to the date you join to the expected completion date in 2025. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of San Francisco Bay Area. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
