We are looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to work in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

The Senior Product Manager will build growth plans and deliver sales and profit objectives for the Rice & Seafood businesses. The Senior PM will build, coordinate, and execute strategic and tactical commercial plans, including innovation, category productivity & CCI projects. The Senior PM will lead cross-functional teams, drive Annual Plans, and manage monthly deliverables across Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Commercial Review. Reports to Marketing Director, Design & Delivery Frozen/Rice/Seafood.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Rice and Seafood business P&Ls
- Develop and Implement Annual Plans for the Rice & Seafood businesses
- Partner with Demand Planning to forecast the Rice & Seafood businesses and delivery Commercial Review (CR) assets from cycle to cycle
- Create monthly business review (MBR) documents for the Rice & Seafood businesses
- Lead cross functional teams (project management) for a variety of project types including NPD and CCI
- Circana data expert with ability to key stroke, analyze, build insights, and make recommendations
- Fully understand competitive brand issues and provide action plans to address
- Recommend and deliver business presentations to cross functional teams and senior leadership
- Exercise discretion regarding strategic recommendations, data and sources, analytic conclusions, and financial recommendations
- Zatarain’s brand lead across Global Marketing, organic support and partnership activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field
- 5 years of sales or marketing experience in consumer products or related field
- Expertise in syndicated databases, business and brand planning, market research, advertising, finance, promotional activities, and consumer communications
- Experience leading cross functional teams, strong project management and influence skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Sound understanding of Marketing principles and practices (functional expert) and a basic knowledge in other areas including Sales, Finance and Supply Chain
- In-depth understanding of how own area integrates with other Marketing areas and with other functional areas such as Sales
- Deep understanding of the industry sector and competitive landscape
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills required to guide, influence, and convince others (internal and external); often customer-facing; interactions with senior leadership.
- Strong personal & team leadership, business savvy, strategic thinking, influence, communication, and teamwork skills
