In this role, you will develop and maintain scalable back-end infrastructure and ensure deployment of data processing applications at the edge. Using your software engineering knowledge, you will lead a team of edge software developers to design and implement a secure and efficient solution for data triage, compression, and synchronization from the edge to the cloud. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
- Experience leading a software development team
- Experience working on a cross-functional delivery team
- Experience with developing in Java
- Experience using Python, Docker, and microservice architectures and tools
- Experience working on projects that utilize Agile methodology
- Knowledge of Unix networking concepts
- Ability to navigate Unix CLI environments
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in CS or Computer Engineering
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL
- Experience working on applications deployed via Kubernetes
- Experience working with software-defined radios and RF techniques
- Experience working with AI/ML tools, including deploying and utilizing existing models
- Knowledge of “data mesh” concepts and tools
- Master's degree in CS or Computer Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
