The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Villanova University has an opening for a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor position. This is a one-year appointment for the 2024-2025 academic year. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering. The appointment begins in August 2024.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities include teaching up to 12 contact hours per semester with typically two to three preparations. Courses of interest include undergraduate core courses in thermal-fluid sciences and design, and introductory courses for freshmen in solid modeling and programming.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must hold an earned doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite.
