The technologist then instructs the patient of all nuclear medicine procedures, protocols, as well as preps. The technologist is responsible for proper computer operation and computer knowledge, use of gamma and SPEC T software, and provides the best patient care possible to enhance quality and professionalism in their tasks. Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technologists required. Current BLS (CPR) certificate required. One (1) year experience in Nuclear Medicine required. I.V. Certification for contrast injections preferred.
