Summary of Position: The Tri-District Data Manager is a key position that manages the Student Information System (PowerSchool) for all five schools in Easton, Redding and Region 9 School Districts as well as its integration with other software systems used across the three districts . The position provides direct support to administration, teachers/staff and students in class scheduling, gradebook and State and Federal reports.
Date Available: Immediate opening.
Schedule: Twelve-month position. Hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Salary & Benefits: Salary is approximately $90,000 per year with a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
High school diploma and a minimum of two to three years of experience working with Student Information Systems (preferably PowerSchool)
Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred
Knowledge of SQL, Javascript and HTML preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Advanced experience with Excel, including use of formulas, vlookup, pivot tables and charts
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; ability to demonstrate initiative and use sound judgment

Responsibilities:
Seup, implement and troubleshoot all aspects of PowerSchool including PowerSchool Teacher Pro, high school scheduling, end/beginning of term/year processes, photo management, and customization;
Support elementary and middle school scheduling;
Oversee integration of PowerSchool with multiple software platforms, working closely with Central Office administration;
Maintain syncing of school communication systems, Destiny, SNAP, and automated attendance;
Support implementation of PowerSchool syncing to other systems such as Naviance;
Support demographic updates including high school athletics registration and medical forms and permission forms in Parent Portal;
Import bus transportation information for all schools;
Maintain and extract data from the system as needed;
Troubleshoot grade storing issues;
Provide training as needed for PowerSchool and PowerTeacher Pro;
Monitor system for data accuracy, correct data as needed, and work with school and district staff to ensure data accuracy (training, state report compliance, data verification, and data cleaning
Complete State and Federal reporting (including training staff on reporting requirements, verifying data is accurate, filing data reports and resolving data inquiries;
Oversee directory management for the districts - maintaining data, assigning and deactivating users;
Work with school and district leadership teams to design systems and reports that support the effective communication of student performance and enables instructional analysis;
All other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent/Head of School and Central Office administrators
