Job Summary:
As the Digital Marketing Manager / E-Commerce at Regent Santa Monica Beach, you will be highly organized and detail-oriented. This revenue-driving role will be responsible for e-commerce, as well as overseeing various aspects of marketing projects, including content development, website management, third-party site maintenance, and digital asset coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
A little bit about your day:
Reporting to the Director of Communications & Marketing, every day is different, but you’ll mostly:
- Promote the Regent’s service philosophy and style through our people attributes.
- Website Content Management: Oversee website content, including images, special offers, landing pages, and legal and security compliance across all sites.
- Third-Party Site Management: Maintain imagery and content on third-party platforms such as Expedia, Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and social media sites.
- Project Management: Coordinate the development of creative content for marketing initiatives, events, and more, ensuring timelines/deadlines are met and managing project expenses.
- Content & Asset Coordination: Identify visual asset needs, support with the coordination and execution of photo & video shoots, and support content creation through tools like Adobe Photoshop and Canva and/or with graphic design partners.
- Optimization and Management: Optimize website content, SEO, paid media campaigns, landing page merchandising, pay-per-click campaigns, social media promotions, and digital marketing analytics interpretation.
- Paid Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate on paid marketing initiatives, including partnerships with platforms like OpenTable, Seven Rooms, etc.
- Campaign Monitoring & Optimization: Analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies to improve ROI and meet acquisition and retention goals.
- Collateral Development: Support teams with content creation and collaborate with graphic designers as needed.
- Reporting: Generate ad-hoc reports for leadership meetings and assist the Director of Communications & Marketing in preparing for strategic meetings.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, ad formats, and emerging technologies to enhance paid media strategies.
- Social Media Strategy Execution: Collaborate with the Director of Communications & Marketing to execute social media strategies, including eventual posting and content alignment with brand strategy.
- Digital Asset Management: Maintain and update photo, video, and brand asset libraries, ensuring assets are labeled appropriately for easy retrieval.
- Digital Marketing Activation Support: Manage email marketing calendar, print marketing materials, and digital creative asset production.
- PR Support: Assist the Director of Communications & Marketing with PR agency coordination, including influencer and press visit arrangements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or related roles in the hospitality industry, within the luxury setting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A relevant advanced degree or certification is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing marketing projects from conception to execution.
- Experience in coordinating digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
- Familiarity with website Content Management Systems (CMS) and third-party platforms such as Expedia, Booking.com, and TripAdvisor.
- Proficiency in using design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software for content creation and asset coordination.
- Previous experience in PR coordination and managing relationships with external agencies is a plus.
- Knowledge of digital marketing analytics tools for campaign monitoring and optimization.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing marketing trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, for reporting and presentation purposes.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, particularly during peak campaign periods or special events.
What you can expect from us:
The annual pay range for this role is $90,000.00 to $95,000.00. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. A colleague’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
