The property is currently undergoing a 90 million dollar renovation and will debut in Spring 2024. The Host/Hostess is responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to restaurant guests, including taking reservations, managing guest lists, greeting and seating guests, and accommodating special requests. As a first point of contact, this position is instrumental in creating a friendly yet professional environment.
Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
Must be able to multi task
Must be able to show initiative in job performance including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity
Must routinely meet deadlines
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary
Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
Flexible schedule to accommodate varying hours of operations, including evenings and weekends
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for welcoming and greeting all guests
Responsible for knowing restaurant and company information, including, but not limited to, hours of operations, directions & knowledge of entertainment areas and events around downtown
Use personality and hospitality skills to provide a seamless and memorable guest experience
Walk guests to tables and engage in conversation while doing so
Complete all opening and closing side work as assigned
Interact with fellow employees and guests in a cheerful, professional manner
Uphold the Hotel Values and Mission Statement while performing positional responsibilities and adhering to company policies and procedures, as stated in employee handbook
