POSITION SUMMARY
As the Regional Implementation Manager, you will lead the Implementation, and management of technology solutions specific to a region. Your expertise will drive seamless integration, enhance operational efficiency, and empower our teams to align technologies with business process to leverage technology more effectively. You will solve real world problems at a local level and ensure those solutions last over time. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful adoption, configuration, and ongoing management of software solutions within a region of the company.
What you’ll do:
- Strategic Planning & Governance
- In collaboration with AEC Leadership, ensures regional strategic technology goals aligns with corporate AEC strategy.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive implementation strategy for software applications across the region/division.
- Ensures technology standards are consistent across the region, in accordance with enterprise standards.
- Works with corporate group and other regional directors to prioritize regional feedback/priorities across regions
- Along with AEC leadership, participates in the Yearly planning process, facilitating divisional and regional engagement.
- Understands where each Division is within the region, which in turn informs strategic decisions.
- Relationship Building/Management
- Effectively builds relationships and communicates with regional and division management and Division Staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including IT, project management, BIM/VDC, operations, shop, and field forces) to align software solutions with business goals.
- Significant ability to Influence and enable change across functions without direct reporting lines.
- Presents to all types of employees at all levels to implement specific technology solutions.
- Workflow Optimization
- Works with division leadership and corporate to implement enterprise systems and develop regional specific workflows where necessary.
- Work closely with technology teams, vendors, and business teams to configure settings, workflows, and collaboration features based on regional requirements.
- Align and optimize software for regional business processes.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of AEC technology initiatives in the region.
- Define project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress for software deployments.
- Ensure seamless integration with design tools, fabrication systems, operations, and field management platforms.
- Ensure smooth transitions from legacy systems to new software platforms.
- Develop plan to have a cadence of user training sessions to maximize adoption.
- Communicate changes related to software updates, enhancements, and modifications.
- Address business team concerns and facilitate adoption.
- Support and Documentation
- Monitor software performance, troubleshoot issues, and validate configurations.
- Conduct regular audits of modules and features.
- Collaborate with corporate team, project managers, BIM/VDC teams, and external consultants to maintain detailed documentation on configurations, best practices, and lessons learned.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or a related field
- Proven experience in technology implementation within the MEP construction industry.
- Familiarity with MEP-specific tools such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MEP fabrication software.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Familiarity with MEP processes, BIM, and construction project workflows.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage timelines and resources.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong Communication, listening, and empathy skills. Expect to work with Regional Presidents and Division Leaders one day and users of the technology the next day.
- Strong knowledge of the MEP engineering and construction industry.
- Has the ability to meet people where they are and progress them through change management to reach desired outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of relevant technologies, technical principles, and broad knowledge of related disciplines.
- Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- The position will require out of State travel to regional offices and job sites.
