Hospital experience as a housekeeper is desirable, although employer may train basic skills and will train for specific procedures within the hospital.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sustained physical effort requiring continuity of effort, working with light or average weight material, equipment, etc.
Usually short cycle work requiring continuous activity or the operation of several machines or pieces of equipment.
Some reaching, pushing of carts, lifting, carrying, manipulating, stooping, and bending required.
SPECIAL JOB HAZARDS:
Exposure to contaminated waste, isolation rooms and cleaning chemicals.
