These include planning and construction, facilities, public safety and emergency operations, environmental health and safety, transportation, housing, and auxiliary/retail operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	Technical school diploma or an equivalent level of knowledge plus two (2) years of experience in the fields of electrical plumbing, HVAC/R, carpentry, painting and/or general maintenance in an industrial, education and/or healthcare setting.
Certifications/Licenses	Valid driver’s license.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Ability to perform minor repair to all skilled trades including mechanical equipment/systems, HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systems.
Preferred Qualifications	New Jersey Black Seal Engineer’s License is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment	PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to perform physical labor without restrictions, including lifting equipment in excess of fifty (50) pounds, performing work on roof, scaffolds and ladders. WORK ENVIRONMENT:Working inside and outside on utilities department equipment .Driving from campus to campus to perform daily maintenance functions.
