Job Abstract

Our client is an award winning global integrator. They are supporting a major branch of the Department of Defense and have a long-term contract opportunity for a Logistics Career Field Management Support Specialist to support leadership in promoting the career development of base-level personnel across the world. The purpose of this support is to connect the Headquarters with base-level personnel by building relationships with key stakeholders, strategizing solutions, and measuring progress. These efforts are expected to include virtual conferences, strategic communication, and creation and marketing of trainings, resources, and tools to develop the Logistics workforce.

Onsite presence at The Pentagon in Arlington, VA is required 3 – 4 days per week. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an active Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and foster client relationships
• Ability to organize and digest complex technical processes to help determine how said processes impact larger strategy
• Strong relationship cultivation skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Air Force Logistics background is a huge plus
• Degree or experience in Human Resources preferred
