Job Description
We are seeking a Marketing Manager with a background in communications and a strong talent for writing to support our broad social impact efforts on Wonderful’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team. This position will be based in Los Angeles, with frequent travel to the Central Valley of California, as needed, and will report to the Director of Marketing for CSR.
Here's what you'll do:
Develop a firm understanding of Wonderful’s CSR programs that translates into beautifully written and compelling copy
Create regular employee communications based on mediums and audiences, including monthly newsletters
Regularly design, create and edit PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external use
Partner closely with Wonderful’s public relations team to ensure content is thoughtfully shared throughout the year
Manage timelines and deliverables of projects assigned to ensure program needs and deadlines are met
Work closely with the Directors of Marketing to support marketing plans execution and reporting
Cover events and activations, capturing audiovisual content for social media when needed
Develop marketing strategy and a broad range of marketing materials for all CSR (Health and Wellness, Philanthropy, and Education).
Write executional and creative briefs for the company's internal creative agency and partner to develop flyers, posters, signage, event materials and presentations to support CSR efforts.
Collaborate with the rest of the CSR marketing and communications team, including the graphic designer, to ensure high-quality materials are always developed and delivered on-time
Supervise the team’s marketing coordinator, managing weekly status meetings, and helping them prioritize projects
Support the CSR events team and The Wonderful Company's events team to coordinate logistics for all CSR events, including VIP tours, speakers and assemblies, recruitment activities, banquets, health fairs, and more.
Manage general tasks, which may include budgets, vendor relations, or other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Here's what you'll bring to the table:
Experience with Hispanic/Latino markets is highly desired.
5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, background in education, health and wellness, or philanthropy preferred
Outstanding written communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Design Suite or Canva, and email marketing platforms.
A strong eye for evaluating design with the ability to provide thoughtful direction.
Ability to copywrite and catch typos and grammatical errors
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
Capable of balancing multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders, while meeting deadlines.
Ability to see the big picture with a willingness to "roll up sleeves" and do whatever it takes.
Creative and resourceful out-of-the-box thinking.
Bilingual Spanish (spoken and written) required.
Ability to travel to the Central Valley, as needed.
Pay Rate: $90,000 - $106,000/year. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
