Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of a Director, the Billing and Collections Manager manages either directly or through oversight, Revenue Cycle Associates, who perform bank account reconciliation, payment posting, claim submission, resolve claim rejections, facilitate account follow up, and research and resolve claim denials and payment variances.
Performs day-to-day processes alongside the team and ensures achievement of KPI’s in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Develops and maintains payer relationships and stays current with payer and healthcare billing regulations.
Acts as a liaison between PDI, the LBH physician enterprise and LBH Partners.
Responsible for customer satisfaction of all assigned practices.
Prepares for and conducts billing meetings monthly or as needed with Physicians, Practice Management, and LBH Partners of assigned practices.
Communicates timely and professionally, clearing work product with management, as necessary, before responding directly to customer.
Learns each assigned practice’s policies, procedures, and processes in order to investigate and resolve technical and process issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
5-7 years of healthcare patient financial experience, with HME/DME experience preferred. 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
On-site position with possibility for hybrid remote
