Workday Business Analyst
This position is 100% remote; however, you must reside within driving distance of our offices in Costa Mesa, CA to attend meetings and semimonthly team collaboration.
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible to apply a consultative approach to understand the business priorities based on the organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Workday, its functional areas, and capabilities. You will play a vital role in optimizing our HR processes, ensuring smooth system operations, and enhancing the overall user experience.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll lead and consult on the technology roadmap to support the organization's long-term goals.
- You’ll act as a Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will partner with other teams within the organization.
- Daily you will manage the development, testing, and implementation for new projects, enhancements, and interfaces.
- You will analyze and translate complex business needs into effective Workday solutions, considering best practices and system capabilities.
- You’ll drive configuration improvements and troubleshooting of current business processes.
- You will support semiannual Workday releases, including researching new functionality and educating the business on enhancements as applicable.
What You’ll Need
- To thrive in this role, you have experience designing, testing, deploying, and supporting Workday configuration in a complex environment.
- You have demonstrated experience with working with at least one Workday functional area - HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll.
- You have a thorough understanding of security and advanced reporting.
- You possess a strong work ethic for working with and maintaining confidential information.
- You have experience partnering with HR Technology team to deliver and test system integrations.
- You have the ability to translate stakeholder requests into actionable reports and/or analyses.
- You’re a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and scaling environment.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$94,900.00 - $126,500.00
Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
