Coachella Valley Unified School District covers more than 1,200 square miles of mostly rural desert terrain, serving the communities of Coachella, Thermal, Mecca, Oasis, Indio, and the Salton Sea. Requirements / Qualifications
Under direction provides a variety of clerical and secretarial support services involving complex and diverse
activities; coordinates communication in both English and Spanish between administrators, District and site
personnel parents, students and the general public.
Examples of duties may include:
1. Greets and assists parents and visitors in Front Office
2. Compiles information from various sources and types on a variety of forms.
3. Develops and maintains files and records.
4. Respond to inquiries of staff and the general public for the purpose of evaluating situations, providing
information and/or direction to appropriate personnel as my be required.
5. Support assigned administrative personnel for the purpose of assisting them with their job functions of
maintaining overall site operations
Several other duties may be assigned in addition to this.
