SUMMARY
The Manager of Social Services reports to the Program Director, s/he is responsible for the supervision of the case management staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Oversee case managers, including hiring, training, disciplinary action etc.
Under the guidance of the program director, plans, directs, and coordinates all case management services.
Assist with the development, interpretation, and implementation of the policies and procedures for all staff.
Supervises case conferences, meeting with staff weekly to assess client progress.
Promote client relations by assisting with receiving complaints and compliments, investigating, and resolving all complaints.
Ensures that policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are adhered to by staff.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Master’s degree in social work or Mental Health Counseling, a plus
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Independent license issued by NYS, a plus.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum one to three years of experience working in Social Services.
Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory role
Bilingual in Spanish required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in an indoor office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
