Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Asset Management Specialist III to join our team in Glen Burnie, MD.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing site-specific property management as vendors deliver to new sites, tracking equipment onsite, accepting site when complete, conducting inventory, and populating the asset management tracking system.
- Scheduling and conducting annual inventory audits, as well as provide system deployment and maintenance services for mission-critical systems, including deployment planning, technical expertise, and coordinating field deployment activities.
- Managing the property program including acquisition, receiving, transferring, excessing, reutilization, repairing, disposing, and retiring of various types of property, and monitoring equipment status, determining maintenance requirements, and recommending maintenance priorities, while providing a full range of supervisory functions for a staff who provides a diverse range of mission support services.
- Preparing Inventory Status Reports for leadership and other ad-hoc reports.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related field AND 9 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Federal acquisition logistics practices and acquisition logistics management standard requirements.
- Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and/or SharePoint.
- DAWIA Level II or III Logistics Certification (or equivalent training and experience).
- Experience with Integrated Logistics Support System (ILSS IBM MAXIMO) and System Application and Product (SAP).
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
