This role is the point person for all communication, scheduling and documentation on a roster of high-profile projects for Apple Music Editorial. They will coordinate with production services, operations, business and marketing teams (including Design, UI, Editorial, Localization, Content Programming, Product Marketing, Video Operations, Creative Services, and Software Engineering) to ensure that campaigns and live-streamed events are delivered under the required deadlines and meet (if not exceed) the goals of the business.
• The ideal candidate has worked in the world of media and digital content and is a resourceful, self-directed professional with exceptional interpersonal skills• Experience with video broadcast technologies and live-streaming is preferred• 7 to 10 years + experience in project management or production within music, media and/or digital content • Experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects• Ability to set the appropriate tone for a project, juggle relationships with diverse personalities, cut through ambiguity, and operate calmly and efficiently under tight deadlines• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and to explain analytical outcomes and technical roadblocks in business terms • Superb interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building productive and positive relationships via influence, collaboration, and fostering trust • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Outstanding presentation skills and confidence in handling comms with senior leadership (Keynote experience preferred) • In-depth knowledge of Apple products and services, particularly as they relate to Apple Music • Experience with project management tools and software (Airtable preferred) • Familiarity with broadcast technologies and video content types preferred • Passion for pop culture, music and entertainment preferred
• Evaluate briefs to extract project goals, content strategy, and deliverables • Develop and maintain project schedules. Redirect pitfalls, problem-solve, and develop the best course of action • Run meetings and document action items, progress, and perform change management • Coordinate across departments both in and outside of Apple Music Editorial to identify and facilitate all necessary production asset approvals with upper management and business partners • Work closely with Editorial and Localization teams to maintain consistency of presentation and voice across deliverables • Drive and influence our production processes, innovating for best practices • Exercise the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality • Support live-streaming events from our network operations center• This role requires flexibility to work non-standard hours to support live events on evenings and weekends.
