Legacy 911 Telecommunication Networks. Legacy Telephone Networks of diverse types: POTS, T 1, PRI - Next Generation 911 Telecommunication Networks. SIP based Telephony Networks. Install, configure, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, as well as other supporting equipment necessary to the overall operation of the system. Utilize both GUI and CLI type interfaces of devices and servers/systems. Perform installation and configuration of Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Windows Workstations, and other proprietary systems necessary to the overall operation of the system. Perform site surveys during the pre-installation phase to identify risks to installation project. Provide on-site training and coaching during the installation and go-live phases of project. Perform system testing and site acceptance of system with customer. Perform a complete installation, leaving no open punch-list items. Perform on-site and remote support post-installation, as necessary. Utilize a suite of issue tracking and remote support tools to provide excellent customer support. Occasionally serve as a customer facing representative for technical issues, bug reports, or request for features/improvements. Interface between customer and internal development teams, as necessary. Continually interact with Technical Project Leads as well as Project Managers for each installation. Maintain an excellent working relationship with co-workers from diverse teams companywide. Provide technical and non-technical training of all levels to customers and co-workers, as necessary. Ability to work independently, as part of a team, behind the scenes, and customer facing. All in the same day! Excellent knowledge of LAN and WAN Network Protocols: L 2, L3, VLA - Ns, MPLS, VPLS, Qo. S. Excellent knowledge of a wide variety of hardware and software: switches, routers, Windows, Linux, Wireshark. Experience with Cisco switches and routers desired. Experience with Cisco ios desired. Excellent knowledge of Firewalls, VPN protocols, SSL/ TLS, s. FTP, and SMTP communications. Experience with Fortinet products highly desired. Excellent knowledge of legacy telephony protocols: POTS, T 1 CAS, PRI. Excellent knowledge and understanding of analog audio connections. Knowledge and understanding of SIP telephony and related protocols. Knowledge and understanding of legacy and IP PB - Xs, SB - Cs, B 2 Bu. As and Proxies. Basic electronics skills.
