We are looking for an ambitious Junior Staff Accountant to provide support to the Finance Team by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and will be able to work comfortably with numbers while also possessing a strong attention for detail. Most importantly, they must have a great attitude and possess a curious spirit and willingness to learn new things! The Junior Accountant will be an important addition to an exciting, fast-growing, and profitable technology-driven company. They will contribute to the continuing success of ECAMSECURE by providing timely and accurate accounting support to ensure the company meets its ambitious targets.
Responsibilities:
Process Journal Entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Assist in Accounts Payable and perform Vendor reconciliation
Assist in Accounts Receivable and perform Customer reconciliation
Assist in the reconciliation of Balance Sheet, Income Statements and Other Financial Statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist in reviewing Expenses, as assigned
Preparing JEs for Cash weekly/monthly reports
Assist Senior Staff Accountant in the preparations and processing of monthly/yearly reports
Process monthly credit cards transactions – coding expenses and processing Journal Entries
Assist with other accounting projects as assigned
Requirements and Skills:
Positive attitude with Respect towards both Management and co-workers
Strong sense of accountability and dependability
Relevant Experience (at least 1 to 2 years work experience and/or internship)
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative Team
Great attention to detail and Time Management Skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Eagerness and willingness to learn/expand knowledge and enthusiasm to better themselves
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Accounting Software (with ability to learn)
BS/BA in Accounting
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 Annually
