We are hiring a Software Development Engineer within Outposts Networking Engineering team. We are looking for a hands-on professional who is passionate about owning and continuously improving end-to-end technical processes through system solutions. Working backwards from our customers needs, you will be challenged to think big and support Outpost networking infrastructure by designing, building, and integrating systems that streamline operational processes.

A successful candidate will be customer focused, passionate about using systems to solve complex problems, and able to balance delivering incremental improvements with long-term vision. A deep technical understanding and a desire to learn about complex systems is a must as you will bridge processes across many nuanced and complex systems. We own the health, scalability and stability of the secured networking connectivity to customers Outposts, You will work with subject matter experts in enterprise compute hardware, operating systems, networking, and customer-facing APIs to deliver the best customer experience in edge cloud computing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
