The Job:
The Restaurant and Outlets General Manager is a key part of the leadership team driving excellence at Portofino Hotel & Marina - a fantastic full-service, water-front, upscale boutique hotel offering the perfect balance of beach casual and upscale chic. As Restaurant General Manager, your leadership and passion for guest service will drive outstanding operating results and ensure your Restaurant is both a preferred dining destination and workplace.
You:
Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and manage the BALEEN kitchen Restaurant and Outlets team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
-Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Manage budgets and financial reporting
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

Your experience and skills include:
· Previous Food and Beverage leadership experience required
· Previous Point of Sale System experience required
· Familiarity with the local restaurant scene and trends preferred
· Must be proficient in Excel
· Certification of previous training in liquor and wine
· Experience planning and executing private events and social dinners.
