Research and Development Project Manager
The Opportunity:
As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a seasoned project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
As a leader on our team, you’ll implement and maintain research and development (R&D) projects in support of Enterprise-level Marine Corps organizations. You’ll perform technical reviews, research, assessments, studies, war games, M&S, and analysis to identify information and intelligence capability gaps. You'll perform research and analysis for new and follow-on projects to satisfy identified capability gaps and new project requirements. You’ll oversee test and evaluation (T&E), field user evaluations (FUEs), and risk assessment processes during development and implementation of new prototypes and capabilities.

You Have:
Experience working with senior-level decision-makers within the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and individual Armed Services
Knowledge of Marine Corps organizations, Information War Room organization, DoD and DON policies, and the relationships between primary N/MC operations, engineering, and acquisition organizations
Knowledge of the relationships between Government and Industry
Ability to develop concept documents, conceptual roadmaps, and transition plans for new and emerging technologies
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber, or Intelligence and 10+ years of experience with Navy or Marine Corps (N/MC) Intelligence, communications, network operations, cyber security, or information warfare programs or projects, or 13+ years of experience with Navy or Marine Corps (N/MC) Intelligence, communications, network operations, cyber security, or information warfare programs or projects in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with working as project manager and leading programs involving Intelligence, IW/Cyber operations, network management, or technology services
Ability to work with and report to senior military leadership
Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
TS/SCI clearance
PMP certification? ?

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
