Senior Accountant
Adecco is looking for people with strong Senior Accountant skills with problem-solving skills for a client site in the Glendale area! This individual will coordinate and oversee the Accounts Payable Department and its functions. This is a nice opportunity for anyone to work for a company with over 100 years of service. This is a Temporary assignment for up to 4 months.
Responsibilities:
Oversee digitally routed PO and Non-PO invoices through the e-procurement system.
Daily management of exceptions and follow-up with end users regarding training and status.
Administer company credit card system, including downloading monthly spending reports and uploading them into the ERP System.
Upload reports from the e-procurement system into the ERP System.
Assist the department in the implementation of the new ERP System.
Ensure invoices are posted and paid promptly per the agreed payment terms.
Audit check runs and ensures backup documentation is completed and correct.
Oversee reports regarding cash flow; ensure correct payments are made promptly.
Ensure proper coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records.
Analyze expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment.
Reconcile accounts payable total and general ledger with other applicable records (e.g., subsidiary vendors ledger).
Ensure proper recordkeeping of purchases for use in tax preparation and periodic audits.
Ensure employer identification numbers or social security numbers have been collected from all vendors for the account payables clerk to prepare and submit 1099s.
Ensure proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records in preparation for audits.
Assist in updates of vendor master file; obtain key insurance or other information as required.
Help transition bill pay to bill.com.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Experience 2-3 years of Accountant experience
Thorough understanding of Accounts Payable functions
Excellent understanding of the month-end processes.
Understanding of vendor onboarding.
Understanding of the accrual process, including inventory.
Excellent analytical skills.
Software experience in Vroozi / Coupa or other Procurement Software, RAMP, Bill.com, and NetSuite is a must
Strong computer experience in MS Suite, especially in Excel
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Shifts are available from Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $43.00 per hour
