Welding Shop Lead
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Welding Shop Lead for a company based in Louisa, VA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the welding team to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Pay Rate
$20-$30 per hour DOE

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 3 30 pm.

Welding Shop Lead Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise/lead a crew of 10-15
• Schedule work thru production manager
• Responsible for quality control of incoming/outgoing parts
• Conduct inspections of welds and welding equipment to maintain quality standards

Welding Shop Lead Qualifications and Requirements
• Proficient in blueprint reading, fit up, and all types of welding in all materials
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to welding operations
• Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods
• Strong leadership and communications skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
