The Postpartum Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Mother Baby Unit, ensuring the delivery of phenomenal care to postpartum mothers and their newborns. Reporting to and in collaboration with the Director Labor & Delivery, the Postpartum Nurse Manager will both clinically and administratively manage the day-to-day operations within the Inpatient Service, with the goal of providing high quality patient care consistent with regulatory agency standards and evidence-based approaches. The Postpartum RN Manager will have the opportunity to coordinate all performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency, while providing leadership in the procedural and strategic services for the unit, along with developing and implementing appropriate policies necessary for the unit’s success.
