Required Qualifications:
24 Semester units of Early Childhood Education including all CORE classes plus Infant and Toddler Development and Program.

Principles and Practices in Early Childhood Education
Introduction to Curriculum
The Child, Family and Community
3 units of Infant/Toddler Development
Supervised field experience
Current California Commission on Teaching Credentialing - Teacher Permit
Bachelor's Degree: 4 years of college level training in Early Childhood Education or related field
Master's Degree
Upon hire: Background Check Clearance by the CA Department of Social Services is required for this position (CPMB) Care Provider Management Bureau. (DOJ) Department of Justice and Child Abuse Central Index
Upon hire: No convictions related to child abuse, offenses against persons, sexual offenses, child neglect, felony offenses involving controlled substances, or any other offenses bearing substantial relation to the qualifications, functions of duties of an employee of a childcare facility.
Upon hire: CA AB1207 Childcare Provider Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training is required for this position.
2 years Working with preschool aged-children
6 months Supervised Field Experience in Early Childhood Setting

6 months Working with Infants & Toddlers.
