Job Abstract

The Job Details:

• Internal analytics of operational and financial performance; identify key trends and areas of opportunity.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly KPI reporting for internal and external use.
• Prepare customer business reviews in power point and excel by collecting and analyzing data from local reports and databases.
• Assistance with rate quotation analysis and development; help ensure standards of presenting and quoting rates are in place throughout all area programs.
• On-going analysis of fixed rate profitability and compliance with increase schedules.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of budgeting and forecasting files.
• Analyze existing business and work through TMs and Local Management to formulate strategic transportation/logistics recommendations that will enhance USCS Customer’s business and strengthen USCS/Customer relationships.

1. Work with team of analysts to qualify needs for study on a case by case basis.
2. Identifying various rules and assumptions specific to customer requirements and determine USCS system constraints to ensure accuracy of output.

• Offer optimization support: prepare data, input files, follow post optimization steps, analyze output and prepare proposal for customer.
• Ensure data accuracy through various testing methods against actual data.
• Perform impact on program analysis.
• Work with the logistics team in an effort to continue to refine the model and improve output relative to customer needs.
• Assist in various testing functions as needed/required by development team.
• Assembling various operations summaries and cost analysis reports for management and to be included in the monthly company-wide metrics reports.
• Support of any TMS integration, testing, training and development efforts.
• Cross-train with billing group to help with customer invoices and carrier payables when needed.
