Axiom Staffing is seeking a water technician for a local restoration company. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Compensation for this position would be approximately $20.00/hour. You are required to be on call once a month.
Purpose of the Job:
The Restoration and Energy Conservation Technician I will be working under a Crew Lead to accomplish the following: mitigate water/fire/mold damage and restore homes when necessary.
Essential Primary Functions:
- Serves as a representative of Axiom's client, . displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with clients and with the public.
- Ability to drive from customer site to customer site with a valid driver’s license.
- Operate basic mitigation equipment (Air Movers, Dehumidifiers, etc.)
- Perform minor and incidental structural repairs to include windows, and doors
Other Functions:
- Assist with loading and unloading work trucks
- Assist with keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe
- Assist with customer site job set up and tear down
- Assist with restocking inventory in work trucks

Skills and Equipment Knowledge Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
- Ability to utilize common hand tools
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred 6 months of relevant construction experience.
Certifications and/or Licenses:
- Valid Driver’s License with clean safety driving record
- Clean Criminal history
- OSHA Certification
- Weatherization Installation Certification
Physical Demands:

- Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
- Be able to reach overhead
- Be able to work in various positions, including but not limited to: stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
- Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday.
Work Environment:
- Frequent and regular exposure to outdoor weather temperatures and conditions.
- Frequent and regular exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and fiberglass.
