An Accredited Medical Center in the Bay Area has just announced an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hospital Pharmacist to join their team as the Clinical ICU Pharmacist!

This over 400 bed Healthcare System facility is Accredited and Awarded by The Joint Commission, home to innovative medical practices, and strives to provide top quality patient care. The Clinical ICU Pharmacist will join an Acute Care Medical Center that boasts a full range of services including inpatient, outpatient, medical and surgical services. This renowned and historic hospital has been serving Bay Area communities for over 100 years, boasts standout cardiac programs, a state-of-the-art cancer center, is a Certified Stroke Center, is designated a Center of Excellence, and is recognized as one of the Top 100 Orthopaedic Programs nationally.

The Clinical ICU Pharmacist will join a staff dedicated to providing the highest patient care and focus on patient safety. They will be well supported by an experienced staff of Pharmacists and Technicians and report directly to the Director of Pharmacy. They will work closely on an interdisciplinary team with other Healthcare Leaders and physicians to ensure that each patient is given an individualized treatment plan. The Clinical ICU Pharmacist will serve two hospital locations and be supported by a clinical team of 50 FTE which includes fellow pharmacists and technicians.

This role will perform both clinical and educational functions required in drug monitoring with focus on cost-effective drug therapy and appropriateness safety. Previous Intensive Care Unit or Critical Care experience will ensure a quick interview for the Clinical ICU Pharmacist.
