Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: • Previous experience working with children • Previous experience providing support to students K-6 in small groups or independently • High School Graduate or equivalent • AA or equivalent college coursework or successful passing of the Paraprofessional Proficiency Exam

REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS: • Completed district application form • Letter of Interest • Resume • Two current and signed letters of recommendation • Copy of High School Diploma or equivalent • Proof of completion of Paraprofessional Proficiency Exam or 48 College Units

**Current District employees must complete the Edjoin application and submit a Letter of Interest only** ***All required documents MUST accompany the application in order to proceed through the application process.*** ***Current District employees may apply and be granted two contracted positions with the district, for not more than 8 hrs. per day. Benefit contributions and CalPERS benefits start with employees working over 4 hrs. per day/20 hrs. per week, provided the two contracts are not both ASPL!***
