Overview
The Service Equipment Coordinator role is ideal for an independent individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a service-oriented mindset. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring prompt resolution for service equipment requests with quality work, in an efficient manner by managing our strong network of vendors and maintaining business relationships. The ideal candidate will exhibit a can-do attitude with excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Purchasing of all related service center tools & equipment.
Managing suppliers, products and pricing in S.O.S. and SAP.
Assess supplier capabilities and develop alternative sources.
Serve as the primary point of contact for our stores and field management with analyzing repair/replacement of equipment and work with vendors in obtaining timely repairs.
Regularly interacts with service managers, area/regional directors and other internal stakeholders.
Process and upload bulk invoice information, PO and invoice matching.
Provide payment information to vendors when necessary.
Education and Experience
Associate/Technical Degree in Automotive Technology required
1 - 3 years of technical experience
Experience with S.O.S. and FM Pilot a plus.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Knowledge of service equipment a plus.
Capacity to assess the importance and urgency of service requests and prioritize accordingly.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in problem-solving.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work with others as part of a team.
Highly organized, attention to detail and demonstrates excellent time management.
Resourceful and creative problem solver.
Possess integrity in actions, behaviors and decisions.
