Raymond West is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst - FP&A to join our team. This role involves reporting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operating data for our Corporate FP&A function. The successful candidate will contribute to forecasting, expense analysis, capital analysis, and ad-hoc analysis, providing comprehensive and accurate financial insights to enhance management decision-making and support the achievement of the company’s financial and business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Corp FP&A activities in monthly reporting to our parent company.
- Analyze and review financial statements, providing insights into any variances.
- Interact with managers from various departments to understand business activities and develop accurate forecasts.
- Create standard tools and methods for collecting and disseminating key financial data.
- Construct detailed financial models to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and standard reports and dashboards for actuals/forecast cycles.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and speak effectively before groups.
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and proactive work ethics.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and managers.
- Willingness to work off-hours as needed and assume more responsibility when required.
- 3+ years of wide-ranging financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience, including accounting, forecasting/planning, and variance analysis for a large corporation.
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting professional concepts and requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in MS Excel financial modeling techniques.
Education/Experience:
- BS/BA Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Experience in Materials Handling or General Contracting preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus, but not required.
Pay Range:
- The salary range for this position is $77,000 - $105,000. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
