Manufacturing Supervisor - 3rd Shift
As a Manufacturing Supervisor you'll provide leadership, guidance, and supervision of hourly production employees. This individual will work closely with members of management staff and corporate to ensure quality products are safe and efficiently produced within scheduled timeline.
Hours: 3rd shift (10PM-8AM), Monday - Friday, with flexibility of working other shifts as needed for business needs
Responsibilities:
Planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities.
Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, implementing cost reduction strategies, developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, writing work orders, evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Required Experience and Knowledge:
Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, in Business Administration, Science/Food Science, Engineering, Agricultural or related field; OR in lieu of degree 5+ years of leadership experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.
2+ years of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Must possess strong leadership skills, problem solving skills, and decision-making skills.
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills at various levels of the company.
Effective communication skills for working cross-functionally in a fast-paced work environment.

Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The temperature of the work environment can fluctuate cold/cool to warm/hot. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud and will require ear plugs. While working in the manufacturing areas, the incumbent is required to wear personal protective equipment.
