Finance Manager needed for an international leasing start-up company located in Irvine CA.
Direct Hire opportunity. Pay range is $100k-150k/yr, depending on experience. Hours are 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Management and Reporting:
Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Supervise Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoicing, payment matching, and daily updates to the AR register.
Conduct monthly financial tasks such as bank reconciliations, insurance payments, rent payments, interest payments, loan payments, and ensuring sufficient funds in each bank account.
Business Analysis and Strategic Planning:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s financial and business operations, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Establish and maintain a robust business analysis system and management reporting framework.
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
Process Improvement and Efficiency:
Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes and workflows, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee relevant projects related to business finance alignment and system development.
Data Management and Integrity:
Ensure the accuracy and quality of financial data by optimizing system data management processes.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records to facilitate effective decision-making and external reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Prepare and present financial materials for external audits, investment partners, and key stakeholders.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support financial objectives and compliance.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Manage risk by implementing and monitoring internal controls and financial procedures.
Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Coordinate with other departments to support overall company objectives and strategies.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Master's is a plus.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Extensive experience in financial reporting, analysis, and strategic planning.
MUST HAVE IPO experience.
MUST HAVE Operations experience.
Professional certification such as CPA (US) is required.
Proficiency in advanced office software, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional self-motivation, proactive approach, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve complex financial problems and analyze data.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 Per Year
