The finance manager is responsible for financial operations and performance of the Orange County Regional Network which includes the Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, OC Hospital, and regional clinics. The manager will largely be focused on managing complex business processes, supporting the executive director of finance and OC Executive Team, including monthly financial reporting, budgeting, pro forma development, financial and clinical analytics, management of labor expense and position control tools, and day-to-day financial support.Additionally, this role will be the first point of contact on matters of financial operations and will help clinical and administrative departments navigate through complex financial processes as well as analyze the drivers of financial performance.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis including Monthly Business Reviews.
Support and advise OC regional leaders in creating financial and operational solutions to issues uncovered through monthly variance reporting.
Prepare and manage various financial and operational dashboards and reports.
Prepare ad hoc analyses as needed using multiple financial and clinical systems.
In collaboration with strategic services, develop pro forma financial statements to support business cases for new programs and services.
Manage the annual operating and capital budget process, ensuring alignment with the system-led Integrated Strategic and Financial Planning processes and meeting internal deadlines.
Communicate budget process and requirements. Provide training as required.
Collaborate with strategic services and other stakeholders to determine budget volumes and provide financial analysis for the strategic plan and initiatives.
Establish budget templates, reports and supporting materials.
Serve as the superuser for EPM (or related) Enterprise Budget Planning System.
Manage the OC Position Control Process (BJF Process) including collection of requests, quantification of financial impact, budget verification, mitigation strategies, and benchmark productivity analysis.
Provide support.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
5+ years professional financial management experience including Financial Modeling, Reporting and Analysis
1 year of experience in a leadership capacity.
